The Diamonds of Caridi

Cutting

The proportion of diamonds must be suitable and appropriate, neither too shallow nor too deep, so that they can shine in brilliance. Caridi uses only diamonds that have been identified as excellent to ensure the perfect shine.

Carat

Carat is a measure of the weight of a gem. Weight is the most important element of diamond value. One carat is equivalent to about 0.2 grams. Caridi creates various styles of diamond jewelry based on various crafts and designs.

Clarity

Diamonds may contain natural imperfections such as other minerals or cracks, and the number, size and location of inclusions can affect the quality and value of diamonds. The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has a clarity scale of 11, ranging from FL, meaning flawless under 10x magnification, to I3 (inclusions visible to the naked eye, which may affect transparency and brightness).

Caridi carefully selects diamonds graded from IF to VVS2to ensure extraordinary quality.

Color

Clear and colorless diamonds represent superior quality. The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) evaluates the color of diamonds alphabetically from D to Z (D is “colorless” and Z is “pale yellow”). Caridi carefully selects colorless diamonds graded from D to F to highlight the outstanding style.
